SV La Luna

Here in Horta it’s a tradition to paint a picture on the dock or on the walks surounding the harbour.
And now La Luna is also a part of the collection of awesome art paintings.
It’s supposed to bring good luck, so lets hope that it’s true!

Azores baby!🥳⛵️🇵🇹
We crossed the Atlantic for the second time in 11 months!

All in all we had a great crossing, with various weather as expected!
The gulf stream helped us to get some good speed, and a few new records:

Some info from the trip:

▪️Duration: 19 days 12 hours - 468 hours
▪️Distance traveled: 3000 Nm
▪️Average speed: 6,4 Kn
▪️24 hours distance record: 210 Nm
▪️Max speed record: 17,8 Kn (by Birk Ragnar!)
▪️Max gust: 53 Kn
▪️ Fish caught: 2
▪️ Fish eaten: 1
▪️ Baths taken: 3
▪️ Fresh stuff left: 2 cabbages, 1 carrot, 2 onions, limes and lemons.
▪️ Things breaking: 0!
▪️ Happy crew: 3!

Da ser det ut som om vi endelig stikker fra Florida til Azorene og 20+ dager med Atlanterhav ligger foran oss!⛵️

OMG! Yes, we are extatic, Yes we are exited to talk to actual People!
And Yes we are eating and drinking like normal people + the 2/1 ratio of beer against food…
Don’t judge us!

Atlantic crossing part two!

Today we will start our Atlantic crossing from Cape Verde to Grenada!

We are sooo exited, and still a bit scared😅
But this will finally take us all the way to the Carribean!!🏝☀️☀️☀️

We have arrived safely in Mindelo - Cape Verde after 6 days and 3 hours at sea.⛵️

A great sail with just the two of us!

Now we will enjoy Cape Verde for a few days, with good food and great people. We’ll get crew for the Atlantic crossing and soon it’s time for our longest sail so far!

Today we will start our Atlantic crossing from Canary Islands to Cap Verde!

The Adventure begins TODAY!!⛵️

In a few hours we will depart from Stavanger and sail our first leg to Antwerp!
