🌟🌟🌟 "Silver" by Natalia Koniarz with the Grand Jury Prize in documentary feature competition at Slamdance! 🌟🌟🌟
"Silver" had its American premiere. This is another significant success for the film, which, after a series of awards won in Krakow and Ji.hlava, confirms and anticipates its strong position on the international documentary film scene.
The award granted at Slamdance is of particular importance. For years, the festival has occupied a unique place on the global map of independent cinema, consistently supporting original and uncompromising voices. It is here that the creators who now shape the face of contemporary cinema have been recognised. Graduates of the event include B**g Joon-ho, Christopher Nolan, Lena Dunham, Rian Johnson, Ari Aster i Sean Baker.
The cinematographer for the film is Stanisław Cuske, who has also worked on feature films, collaborating with Łukasz Żal on Jonathan Glazer's ‘The Zone of Interest’ and Chloé Zhao's ‘Hamnet.’ Yael Bitton, an outstanding French editor, is responsible for editing, and Marcin Lenarczyk is the sound director. The film is a Polish-Finnish-Norwegian co-production. The Polish producer is Maciej Kubicki (Telemark), the Norwegian producer is Torstein Grude Ruwê Yuxinawá (Piraya Film), and the Finnish producer is Ikka Vehkalahti (IV Films). The executive producer is world-class director Paweł Pawlikowski.
