Today Simen Mitlid released his fourth album «Fredsvenn» at Koke Plate 🕊️ A collection of intimate songs and surprises : )

The title is inspired by artist Bendik Riis, who in 1944 marched illegally wearing a cardboard crown, knee socks, shorts, and gold-colored shoes, carrying a large silk banner with the word «Fredsvenn» painted on it in front of German soldiers. The event appears in several «Fredsvenn» motifs in his works, which have inspired both the album title and the last track on the record. 🕊️
