We are incredibly honoured and grateful that Korketrekkeren (The Corkscrew), directed by Torfinn Iversen and produced by Julia Andersen has won the Region Skåne Short Film Award on 100.000 SEK, at BUFF Malmö Filmfestival in Malmö.🎉🤩

A huge thank you to the jury and the festival for this recognition, and to our wonderful cast and crew who brought this film to life.

The award will help us continue developing new film projects. So grateful for everyone who believed in this film!!

KORKETREKKEREN (The Corkscrew) has been nominated for Competition: Best Short Film 2026 at BUFF Malmö Filmfestival!
Only 8 short films from around the world have been selected for the competition, and we are proud and happy to be the Nordic contribution 💜

BUFF will also mark the film’s Swedish premiere where the director Torfinn Iversen and producer Julia Andersen will be present! 🇸🇪

The film competes for The Region Skåne Short Film Award, presented to the festival’s best short film in children’s and youth cinema. Prize: 100,000 SEK

We have just received the dailies from the film lab, and want to thank everyone involved in this great production!👏 A small film for the big canvas, shot on 35mm. Now the postproduction can start and we are looking forward to screening our new shortfilm in the near future 🎥

Vi i Fjordic Film er stolte over å ha fått støtte til to prosjekter nylig. Takk til Fond for lyd og bilde, samt Nordnorsk Filmsenter som har gitt oss produksjonsstøtte til novellefilmen Korketrekkeren. Vi ønsker også å takke Filmfond Nord som har investert i vårt spillefilmprosjekt Onkel Egg - Jakten på en pappa, og som har gitt oss manusutviklingstøtte til å utvikle spillefilmen Sparkekoret.
