Nuclear Energy in Russia ⚡️🇷🇺
Russia is one of the world’s leaders in nuclear power. The country operates over 30 nuclear reactors that provide a significant share of its electricity. Nuclear energy is seen as a key part of Russia’s strategy for energy independence and reducing carbon emissions.
In addition to domestic use, Russia is also a major exporter of nuclear technology through its state corporation Rosatom, which builds reactors and supplies fuel to many countries worldwide.
While nuclear power offers clean and reliable energy, it also raises concerns about safety, waste management, and geopolitical influence.
