So Sunday 10th May seen us visit to ride AVIKTAS ahead of its opening day in a VIP event to be one of the first 600 riders ahead of opening day on the 21st May at 2pm.

Apart from the mass brawl from the hub to the AVIKTAS plaza which should have been cattle penned inside and would made the flow easier into the ride area.

On a positive note now the ride area and plaza is absolutely stunning and the attention to detail is a big wow as even the bins are themed. Can’t wait for yous all to see it on the 21st May.

Tomorrow (10/5/2026) we will be riding newest attraction AVIKTAS which is an Intamin Gyro swing taking you up to 138 ft swinging 120• in line with the Big One (Pepsi Max).

We aren’t allowed to film or take photos in the ride area tomorrow as per the request of Blackpool Pleasure Beach but don’t worry we will be on site on the 21st May when it officially opens to the public at 2pm.

This is how you enter and it might be the most insane park entrance in Europe.Right as you step onto the escalator climbing into Norway’s premier theme park just outside Oslo, Speed Monster completes its signature loop directly above your head. Not beside you. Not near you. Above you.

The train screams over at full speed while you’re still making your way up into the park — and somehow, Tusenfryd decided this was totally normal park design.It isn’t. And it’s absolutely brilliant for it.

Whether you’re a coaster enthusiast, a theme park traveller, or just someone who appreciates genuinely wild architecture — this is Oslo’s most underrated spectacle, and you probably won’t believe it until you see it.

Today saw us visit the park for a 2nd Day visit for 4.5hrs before heading to airport to fly home.

Big improvement from yesterday in the weather had wall to wall sunshine with no snow or rain forecasted compared to our 1st Day visit of the 2026 Season.
