Happy Friday! 👋

Last Friday I shared a highlight video with Northern lights, and this Friday I want to share another one. This was the first time I saw them as early as in August. Seeing the Northern lights in August is quite rare this far south in Norway.

This trip starts in Bergen where I have to pic up the train at an unusual location and move it to the terminal so it can be loaded with freight. Since this was a Sunday the freight volume was quite low. Bergen was undergoing massive changes when this was filmed.

In this video the signalling failure between Voss and Reimegrend was causing massive delays through the network.

This trip also show a really close call with a beautiful stag just after Geilo.

I want to share this highlight from a few years ago when I was lucky to film the Northern Lights from the cab 🤩

Weather permitted, the chance of having perfect weather on both sides of the Mountain pass is like winning the lottery, but I would say this night was one of the better.

I'm taking you on a magical moonlit train ride over the mountain pass just before christmas. Join me as I operate this train from Bergen to Ål over the Mountain Pass on the Bergen Line in Norway. The moon light is reflected by the snow on the mountain pass making it a beautiful spectacle.
