We only live so long. No one knows when you're going to die, so you'd better get busy living.
Why not do something amazing?
In the end we are equal - like the birds, the snakes, the rats, and the worms. We are born with nothing. We die with nothing. It's what happens in between that counts.
You are alive now. That's what matters.
Your heart is beating. Will it beat tomorrow?
Who knows? Life is a mystery, and it's time to start treating it that way. The only irresponsible thing you can do is waste it.
You are here - God only knows why - but you have the dreams and desires you do for a reason.
The truth is - you do know why you're here.
The problem is society wants your dreams to fit into some preconceived mold. It all goes back to that high school guidance counselor...
"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
Whoever said we wanted to grow up? Growing up is killing us! Refusing to grow up is choosing to live - and experiencing every day with the playfulness and curiosity of a child. When we stop seeing the world as a playground, nature as a classroom, beauty in the mundane - we perish.
