The final day unfolded with an enriching session from a progressive banana farm owner, who shared practical insights into commercial banana farming and sustainable production practices. Participants then delved into an engaging entomology session, broadening their understanding of insect science and its applications in agriculture.

The day further buzzed with creativity and research during the Poster Presentation Competition, where young minds showcased their innovative ideas. Adding to the knowledge exchange, Muktinath Krishi Company Ltd. conducted a special session highlighting advancements and opportunities in agri-business.

The event came to an end with the certificate distribution and closing ceremony, celebrating the collective learning, innovation, and collaboration achieved over these three transformative days.

🌱 With Day 3, the IAAS Scientific Event 2025 concluded on a high note — inspiring participants to carry forward the spirit of scientific inquiry and sustainable agriculture.

The IAAS Scientific Event 2025 entered its third day with inspiring presentations on agricultural innovation and sustainability. 🌱✨

Scientific Paper Presentation II featured Ms. Anushuya Panthee from the Department of Entomology, who shared her research on modern agricultural practices, offering sustainable and innovative approaches to transform farming systems.

Following this, Mr. Samriddha Bhantana, Proprietor of Bhantana Banana Research Centre, presented groundbreaking approaches in sustainable banana production, highlighting practical solutions for productivity and resilience. 🍌

Both sessions fostered engaging discussions, bridging research insights with real-world applications for the future of agriculture. 🚜🌍

Day 2 of IAAS Scientific Event 2025!

Our journey continued with an engaging panel discussion on “Innovation to Implementation: Transforming villages through youth engagement.”, followed by inspiring showcases of youth-led startups – Gunsaar (reviving indigenous Nepali foods: gundruk & masyaura) and Sugandhika.The day further enriched participants through a scientific proposal writing course by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ujjal Tiwari and an insightful AgriDigital session by Mr. Rupak Ghimire introducing the TagMe app.

The day concluded with impactful farm visits to Muktinath Krishi Company Ltd. – exploring organic fertilizer from elephant dung, seed processing, and labs – and to Sagar Bee Farm, where modern bee-farming practices and queen production techniques were showcased.

🌿It was indeed a day of knowledge, innovation, and inspiration towards a more sustainable agricultural future!

From innovative fertilizer production to advanced seed processing and modern agri-labs, the experience showcased how science and sustainability go hand in hand for the future of agriculture in Nepal.

Shortly after visit to Muktinath krishi company ltd., an insightful visit to Sagar Bee Farm was conducted🍯🐝 where modern beekeeping thrives! From advanced queen production to innovative practices, the experience highlighted how science and sustainability ensure sweeter harvests and stronger bee colonies.
