The recent flash flood in Nepal may unfortunately just be the beginning of a much bigger problem.
A warming Himalaya means melting glaciers, growing glacial lakes, unstable mountains, heavier rainfall and more floods and landslides. Nepal has already identified 21 potentially dangerous glacial lakes within its borders.
For a country that contributed so little to this crisis, the price could be enormous.
