🚨 Korean Rescue Team Returns from Upper Trishuli Tunnel

A Korean rescue team deployed to rescue people trapped inside the Upper Trishuli Hydropower tunnel has returned to Dhunche after being unable to proceed with the operation due to a lack of necessary equipment.

The team reportedly lacked a mini excavator and mud pump, making it difficult to continue rescue work inside the tunnel after assessing the site.

📹🌊 Real-Time Flood Monitoring Cameras Installed in Timure, Rasuwa

Installation of CCTV cameras for real-time flood observation and monitoring in Timure, Rasuwa has been completed.

The system will allow 24-hour visual monitoring of river and flood conditions in the Timure–Rasuwagadhi area, strengthening early warning and disaster risk reduction efforts. Work is underway to establish VSAT and communication connectivity, with the system expected to come into operation soon.

On Monday alone, 10 bodies were recovered from the Nagar Ban area of the Narayani River in Chitwan as search operations continue.

🚨 Rasuwa Flood Update | 1:30 PM, Bhadra 15

Nepal Army helicopters have rescued 330 people so far during ongoing flood response operations in Rasuwa.

Search and rescue operations continue inside the Trishuli-3 and Trishuli 3B hydropower tunnels, while a joint team searched approximately 250 metres inside the Rasuwagadhi Hydropower tunnel but found no people.

Over 8,900 Nepal Army personnel have been deployed across affected areas, continuing search and rescue operations.

🇦🇺🇳🇵 Australia Announces Additional $3 Million in Flood Aid for Nepal

Australia has announced an additional $3 million in humanitarian assistance for communities affected by floods along the Nepal–China border, bringing its total support to $8 million.

The package includes $2 million for emergency supplies and $1 million to support locally led recovery and rehabilitation.
