Fred Ehrsam, Co-Founder of cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase stirred a hornet's nest after he recently said that 90 percent of the NFTs (non-fungible tokens) will be of no worth in the next three to five years. Ehrsam's criticism of NFTs comes at a time when the digital asset class has generated excitement and its popularity has swept the world. The former Goldman Sachs foreign exchange trader drew a parallel between the early internet companies from the late 1990s and NFTs and said, "I go so far as to say that 90% of NFTs produced, they probably will have little to no value in three to five years."

Australian Researchers Develop Tech to Turn Regular Glasses into Night-Vision Devices.

The prototype technology, which is cheap and easy to produce at a mass scale, converts infrared light into light visible to the human eye.
These ultra-thin films could one day turn regular spectacles into night-vision goggles and also revolutionise several sectors, such as autonomous vehicle navigation, optical tomography, and food quality control. The film is thinner than human hair and is made of nanoscale crystals. Researchers from the Australian National University (ANU) say the prototype tech could replace the bulky night-vision goggles used by military and law-enforcement officials with a lightweight alternative, and could also make it safer to drive at night or walk home after dark.
The technology, which works at room temperature, converts infrared light into light visible to the human eye. Researchers say it's cheap and easy to produce at a mass scale, making it a preferred choice over the current high-end infrared imaging tech that requires cryogenic freezing and is costly to produce.

Netflix Launches Online Store.

First coming to the US,
For the launch of the store, the company is introducing a collection of anime inspired collectibles from three up and coming designers Nathalie Nguyen, Kristopher Kites, and Jordan Bentley.

Netflix developed and launched the e-commerce site with Shopify. The shopping site will first be available in the US before expanding to other countries in the coming months.
