काठमाडौं । पूर्वगृहमन्त्री रमेश लेखकको गिरफ्तारीविरुद्ध दायर गरिएको बन्दी प्रत्यक्षीकरण रिटमाथि सर्वोच्च अदालतले प्रारम्भिक सुनुवाइ गर्दै सरकारलाई कारण देखाउ आदेश दिएको छ ।
न्यायाधीश कुमार रेग्मीको एकल इजलासले उक्त रिटमाथि विचार गर्दै तत्काल रिहाइको आदेश भने जारी नगर्ने निर्णय गरेको हो । यो रिट लेखककी पत्नी यशोदाद्वारा दायर गरिएको थियो ।
अदालतको आदेशअनुसार अब सम्बन्धित निकायले लेखकलाई हिरासतमा राखिएको विषयमा आफ्नो पक्ष स्पष्ट पार्नुपर्नेछ । साथै, हालको अवस्थामै उनलाई रिहा गर्ने आधार नदेखिएको भन्दै अदालतले सो माग अस्वीकार गरेको हो ।
यस निर्णयसँगै अनुसन्धान प्रक्रियालाई निरन्तरता दिँदै केही समयसम्म उनलाई हिरासतमा राख्न सकिने अवस्था बनेको छ ।
