शोकमा माघ २ गते (भोलि) सार्वजनिक बिदा
दिएको छ ।
आईतवार काठमाडौंबाट पोखरा उडेको यती एयरलाइन्सको कल साइन नाइनएन एएनसी फ्लाइट नम्बर ६९१ एटीआर ७२ जहाज सेती नदीको खोचमा दुर्घटनाग्रस्त भएको हो ।

दुर्घटनामा परी ज्यान गुमाउनेहरुको शोकमा भोलि सार्वजनिक बिदा दिने निर्णय गरिएको उपप्रधान तथा अर्थमन्त्री विष्णुप्रसाद पौडेलले बताए । उनले सरकारले घटनाप्रति गहिरो दुःख व्यक्त गर्नुका साथै एक दिन शोकपूर्ण घटनामा सार्वजनिक बिदा दिने निर्णय गरेको बताए ।

यती एयर दुर्घटनाः ५ सदस्यीय आयोग गठन, ४५ दिनभित्र दुर्घटनाको कारण पहिचान गरिने

पूर्वसचिव नागेन्द्र घिमिरे संयोजक रहनुभएको जाँच आयोगमा सदस्यमा हवाईविज्ञ दीपकप्रसाद बास्तोला, हवाई विज्ञ सुनिल थापा, हवाई मर्मत सेक्टरका इन्जिनियर एकराजजंग थापा र जाँच आयोगको सदस्यसचिवमा संस्कृति, पर्यटन तथा नागरिक उड्डयन मन्त्रालयका सहसचिव बुद्धिसागर लामिछाने रहनुभएको छ । आयोगले ४५ दिनको समयावधिमा दुर्घटनाको कारण पहिचान गर्ने र आगामी दिनमा त्यस्तो दुर्घटना हुन नदिन अपनाउनु र गर्नुपर्ने कारण पहिचान गरी सुझावसहितको प्रतिवेदन प्रश्तुत गर्नेछ ।

प्रतिवेदन प्राप्त भएलगत्तै सरकारले आवश्यक निर्णय लिने मन्त्री पौडेलले बताए । उनले आगामी दिनमा हवाई दुर्घटना हुन नदिन आन्तरिक उडानतर्फ देशका सबै वायुसेवा कम्पनीहरुले आन्तरिक उडानमा रहेका आफ्ना विमानहरुको अनिवार्य प्राविधिक परीक्षण गर्नका लागि निर्देशन दिने निर्णय गरेको र यसको अनुगमन नागरिक उड्डयन प्राधिकरणले गर्ने बताए ।

विमान दुर्घटना : सवार ७२ जनामध्ये ५३ नेपाली, १५ विदेशी, अहिलेसम्म ३२ जनाको शव संकलन
काठमाडौं : पोखरामा आज बिहान भएको यति एयरलाइन्सको विमान दुर्घटनामा ५३ जना नेपाली परेको खुलेको छ । यस्तै, दुर्घटनामा पर्नेमा पाँच भारतीयसहित १५ विदेशी नागरिक पनि रहेका छन् । दुर्घटनाग्रस्त विमानमा चार चालक दलका सदस्यसहित ७२ यात्रु थिए । जसमध्ये ३ बालबालिका र ३ शिशुसहित ६४ वयष्क थिए ।दुर्घटनास्थलमा अहिले उद्धार कार्य जारी रहेको छ । अहिलेसम्म दुर्घटनास्थलबाट ३२ जनाको शव संकलन गरिएको बताइएको छ । अहिले पनि उद्धारकार्य जारी रहेको छ ।

वीरगञ्जका गोदाममा छापा, भन्सार छलीका सामान बरामद

१ पुस, वीरगञ्ज । नेपाल प्रहरी र सशस्त्र प्रहरीको संयुक्त टोलीले वीरगञ्ज–१० मा रहेका चारवटा गोदाममा छापा मारेर भन्सार छलीका ३५ लाख बराबरका सामान बरामद गरेको छ ।

२७ मंसिरमा जनपथ र सशस्त्र प्रहरीका महानिरीक्षकद्वयले राजश्व चुहावट नियन्त्रणमा संयुक्त रुपमा काम गर्न निर्देशन दिएलगत्तै सशस्त्र र नेपाल प्रहरीको टोलीले बिहीबार शंकास्पद गोदाममा छापा मारेर ठूलो परिमाणमा खाद्यान्न सामग्री बरामद गरेको हो । खाद्यान्न व्यापारीहरु विनोद गुप्ता, श्याम वर्णवाल, प्रधुम्न गुप्ता र सुजित गुप्ताको गोदाममा प्रहरीले छापा मारेको थियो । ती गोदामबाट २५ किलो दरका १ हजार १२२ बोरा चामल, १० क्वीन्टल मैदा, ग्लुकोज लगायतका सामग्री बरामद गरिएको छ ।

2 Rhinos have been found dead in Chitwan National Park.

A 6-month-old male rhinoceros was found dead on Thursday in the core area of the park on the banks of the Narayani river under the Kujauli range post of the park’s Amaltari sector.

Ganesh Tiwari, information officer of the national park said as the rhino was young, it didn’t have a horn.
a female rhinoceros was found dead in the central community forest area of Gundrahi Dhaka under the Amaltari sector of the park this morning.

the 15-year-old female rhinoceros may have died in a fight. The rhino’s horn and hooves are safe.

Dense fog affects flights to Tarai

Kathmandu, December 15

Flights to the Tarai region have been affected due to poor visibility on Thursday.

Issuing a notice on Thursday, airline companies informed dense fog in the Tarai region had affected flights to Biratnagar, Bhairahawa, Nepalganj, Simra and Janakpur.

This has caused massive congestion at Kathmandu’s domestic airport.
