Are you always tracking your followers?

If you are, is it growing? or is it dropping? or completely flatlined?

Just because you are posting doesn’t mean you have proper content. You can post every day, three times but if your posts aren’t creating value for the audience, the content is not right.

All content marketers know that creating content that connects and gives value to the audience is one of the hardest things to do. No matter how you plan your content or don’t, all you have to remember is when you post, you need to create valuable content that your audience can connect to.

Some people I connect to on DMs ask me why I give out so much content for FREE when I can be using this content to sell a service. I only have one logic, if a prospective client can do the work I am going to do for them, then there is no point in charging them. I am here to work for clients, who know they need help and they are not able to do it cause they don’t have the time or expertise to do it.

Over the years, working for agencies, freelancing and now starting my own branding agency… it has taught me a lot about branding but not just that.. it has also taught be how to deal with different clients.

Branding, if i and all branding strategists haven’t said it enough is the most important part of the business.

Of course we love ❀️ great designs, logos, animations, product photos, and all. However, to give then all value is how your company’s branding is perceived upon by clients and customers.

Recently I have a short talk about Branding and for almost 15 mins I talked about internal v. external branding.

Selling to a client the first time is easier than having them buy the product or service the second time.

Running a delivery company ZAPP.TODAY has taught me that our customers are always ready to place their delivery orders with us the first time, then they see how we do and place the following orders.

Also when I worked for a marketing agency in Thailand, our clients stayed longer with us and did not watch to switch to another agency because they loved how we worked and serviced them.

In any company, sales reports always need to include how many clients or customers they are retaining or have returning customers. That's when you know that your company has started doing well.

Branding a business or product always comes in layers and every business needs to think about internal branding before you even touch external branding.

Just like how we humans are, no matter how cool you look on the outside, if you conversation is not aligned with what you believe then it doesn't work.

Branding is layered like an onion. Before you work on your external branding, you need to make sure that internally you are aligned.

Creating content and getting inspiration is always the hardest task for a content creator. There is no such thing called EASY CONTENT that will blow up your brand.

People are always consuming content online, and it is for a content creator to figure out how to create content that gives value to their content consumers. People want to see deep and meaningful content that they can connect with.

If you want to make money from your audience, you need to create some killer content that helps your brand be MEMORABLE!

Here are few things to consider:
- Makes you memorable
- Gives value to people and in return creates value for your brand
- Generates conversation
- Builds brand advocates
- People share your content with their network
- Generates engagements with viewers

πŸ‘Ÿ Nike doesn't have a sneaker as a logo

🧠 It is totally fine if you logo does not have any negative space.
🧠 It is also totally fine if you logo does not have any hidden meaning behind it.
🧠 Your logo does not need to describe what your business does nor does it have to be artistic.
πŸ’‘ All your logo has to do is give an identity to your brand so people can remember it.
It is not important for your logo to have the brand's name nor does it have to relate. All it has to do is give IDENTITY to your brand.

πŸ’‘ Once you create a logo, be consistent on using it everywhere. But don't get me wrong, do not over do it either.

How to define your brand purpose?

πŸš€ What
You need to know what you and your brand is providing. Is it a service? Is it a product?

But in any instance, you need to define what your customers or clients want and how is your brand going to match those needs?

πŸš€ Solve
Are you solving a problem for your customers? Or what kind of problem are you and your brand going to solve?

Remember: Until you do not show your customers that there is a problem and you can solve that issue, you customers wouldn't know.

πŸš€ How
Since you have defined an issue and you are telling your customers that you can solve it, you need to let them know how you will solve it.

It should be in plain and simple language that the customers would understand.

πŸš€ Why
There is a problem and you have the solution, but is that what your customers want? You should be able to explain it to them why these solutions would help them succeed in their everyday life or their business.

πŸš€ End Goal
Show your customers or clients the end goal. This way they are able to imagine what they will achieve at the end.

Remember: Customers need to know the process and how they will be involved. YES! They always love being involved.

πŸš€ Connect
You can only control so much of your customer or clients thoughts, you need to make sure that you put your brand's purpose together with what they can connect with.

If you are talking to a customer that is selling a product, you can't go to them and show them a portfolio of service based clients.

How to get a strong brand presence.

Believe
First thing first, you need to believe in yourself and your brand. When you first create your brand's identity, you feel confident and excited. However, that may not last forever. BUT that does not mean you need to create a new one, all you need to do is get new ways to put your brand out there. The excitement and confidence will follow.

Say NO
Don't hesitate or be afraid to say NO to new things. There are going to be a lot of new opportunity or marketing trends, but that might not align with your brand. Say NO and move on.

Don't Get Distracted
Social Media and the Internet can be distracting. There are always new businesses popping up that might be similar to yours. Don't compare your brand to them, be AUTHENTIC and YOURSELF. You have much more power to be YOU than to start being like someone else.

Be Consistent
If we haven't said this enough, CONSISTENCY is the key to opening all doors. You might have an urge to change your brand's logo, color or fonts. If you change any of these, all it will be doing is confusing your audience.

Smart Investment
Be smart about your investments. It is not necessary to spend thousands of dollars on your brand, and just changing it 2 months later. Reach out to designers or marketing expects you have in your network, they will love to help you and give you a better price.

Being an owner of 3 startups, and making sure designs and social media is up to the point, IT'S A HARD TASK. Hence, I have been using these resources for the past 4 - 5 years on a daily basis. It's affective and fast.

Pinterest
This is one of the best ways to get inspiration for your designs. Not only that, but this is also the best place for you and your brand to interact with other brands and people related to your field.

Instagram
I get most of my inspiration through Instagram. Almost all the time. Additionally, Instagram is the best place for you to engage with your target audience. The way it works is you give yourself at least 30 - 45 mins a day to engage and build your community on social media. Depending on your business, you need to choose your social platform.

Canva
I do most of all my design work for my social posts on Canva. Their easy 'drag and drop' platform with thousands of templates to choose from makes it so much easier to get inspiration and get social media posts done. For other complex designs like mock-ups I use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Trello
Getting your inspiration and design them are few of the most important steps but to plan your designs to go out on social media is even more important. I use Trello to plan my social media for all of my businesses and clients.

Adobe XD
Adobe XD is where I do my designing for UI/UX designs. Mostly for website and app designs, I use the platform. Perfect to use if you are planning on creating a website or mobile app for your business.

More than 50 doctors from all across Nepal have come together in an effort to send you an important message. A small initiative by the healthcare workers of the Nepalese community. We healthcare workers are risking our lives everyday by going to work and making sure that everyone is safe, help this initiative and help us by staying home.

Most people in Nepal care about their health but some people are not taking the threat of COVID-19 seriously. As the cases are increasing day by day we need to be more aware and careful of this deadly virus.

Your future is in your hands, we cannot fight this alone. But together we can make a difference. Stay inside, help stop the spread of COVID-19. A humble request to you from the healthcare workers all over Nepal.
