Kathmandu: Search and rescue efforts continue at the Upper Trishuli-3 ‘B’ Hydropower Project, where a large number of people have been missing since the flood. Army Vows No Halt to Search for Those Trapped in Hydropower Tunnels

Kathmandu: The Nepal Army has said that search and rescue operations inside tunnels of flood-damaged hydropower projects will continue until breakthrough access is achieved in all tunnels. The Army has intensified rescue efforts after estimating that around 121 people may have been trapped inside tunnels of various hydropower projects during the Rasuwa flood. Power supply has remained cut off district-wide since Sunday night after landslides toppled 32 electricity poles in the Subakandh, Birekhola, and Nunepani areas of Badimalika Municipality-8. AEPC Deploys Solar Power Systems to Restore Electricity in Flood-Hit Communities

Kathmandu: The Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) has launched several initiatives to restore electricity services in areas affected by the Bhotekoshi flood, including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading districts.
