In Nepal’s far-western Darchula district, even a simple volleyball game turns into a rare mountain adventure. Trekkers and locals at Api Himal Base Camp have been seen enjoying informal games surrounded by raw Himalayan beauty, open meadows and the majestic view of Mt. Api.

Api Himal stands at 7,132 meters, while the base camp is generally reported around 3,900 meters. The area remains one of Nepal’s most remote and less-explored trekking destinations, making moments like this even more special.
