Crucial appointments should be allowed based on qualifications and competencies rather than political affiliation to build an efficient and functioning government. Professional institutions encourage accountability, openness, and effective service delivery and are also helpful to a thriving business environment. Meritocracy should be immediately adhered to by all political parties to create a favorable climate for investment, innovation, and social justice.
