कलाकार सिताराम कट्टेल ‘धुर्मुस’ले छोरीको जटिल उपचारका लागि आफू केही दिनअघि स–परिवार अमेरिका पुगेको जानकारी दिएका छन्। फेसबुकमार्फत सार्वजनिक गरे को लामो स्टाटसमार्फत उनले छोरीको उपचार अमेरिकामा नि:शुल्क रूपमा उपलब्ध भएकाले त्यतै जानु परेको बताए। उपचार प्रक्रिया सम्पन्न भएपछि परिवारसहित पुनः नेपाल फर्किने उनले उल्लेख गरेका छन्।

Monetary Policy Review highlights

Easier Borrowing & Bigger Limit..

- The top interest rate has been slightly cut (from 6% to 5.75%), and the main policy rate is down, too. Impact: This is a signal for easier and slightly cheaper loans.
- The Personal Overdraft limit is now 1 Crore (up from 50 Lakh). Impact: Offers flexibility for managing personal expenses or business float.
- Collateral based microfinance loans jumped from 7 Lakhs to 15 Lakhs. Impact: Micro entrepreneurs / business can borrow more and expand their business

Relief & Recovery Measures

- If you're struggling to pay back a microfinance loan, you can now adjust your repayment schedule.
- Businesses hit by floods/landslides can get their loans restructured once, with banks only charging a minimum of 10% interest.

Bank Operations & Transparency

- Banks no longer have to pay institutional fixed deposits 1% less than personal deposits. Impact: Banks have more flexibility in how they manage their large funds. Keep an eye on how this affects overall deposit rates in the long run.
- New rules are coming for more transparency and accountability in banking.
