THIS has to be the BEST waterfall in the WORLD!

Welcome to Piala Waterfall in Luwuk, Sulawesi 🏝️

Hidden in the jungle and surrounded by crystal clear blue water, this felt like something out of a movie

The waterfall is one of the most popular spots to visit around Luwuk and is usually added onto Banggai Islands itineraries and is great to visit before your flight out

Welcome to Indonesia’s BEST kept secret 🇮🇩👇

These are the Banggai Islands…

Located off the coast of Sulawesi and home to crystal clear lakes, white sand beaches and insane waterfalls 

While the Banggai Islands are definitely starting to become more popular online, the remote location means it still feels relatively untouched compared to places like Bali or Komodo

Getting there ✈️

Most people fly into Luwuk (usually via Bali/Jakarta + Makassar) before taking the ferry or speedboat across to the islands 🚤

I spent 5 days exploring the islands with .sewang who organised all our transport, accommodation and activities
