सरकारले स्थल र हवाई यातायातलाई अत्यावश्यक सेवामा राखेको छ। ऐन अनुसार हड्ताल गर्नेलाई ६ महिना र उक्साउनेलाई १ वर्षसम्म कैदको व्यवस्था छ। तर सोमबार नेपालभर सार्वजनिक यातायात बन्द हुँदा हजारौं यात्रु बिचल्लीमा परे-बिरामी बाटोमा अलपत्र परे, विमानस्थल जानेहरू रोकिए, स्कुल–कलसका विद्यार्थी अलमलिए।
यता, गृह मन्त्रालय कानुन कार्यान्वयन गर्न टुलुटुलु हेरेर बस्यो।

नेपाल यातायात व्यवसायी महासंघको नेतृत्वमा गरिएको यो हड्ताल सिधा-सिधा कानुनको उल्लंघन हो। तर सरकार व्यवसायीहरूको सिन्डिकेटको अगाडि लाचार देखियो। सिन्डिकेट र दादागिरी कायम गर्दै अत्यावश्यक सेवा ठप्प पार्नु न नागरिकप्रति उत्तरदायित्व हो, न त यो कानुनसम्मत।
