Our Story
My country, Nepal, is really a paradise. The only defect is that it has no sea access; it’s a landlocked country. I love my country more than anything else in the world. What has my country not got? It is one of the richest countries in the world in bio-diversity; in hydropower or water resources; in land-structure and the friendly nature of people and their custom and culture. My country, Nepal has many things to do and many things to see. Boating, rafting, mountaineering, paragliding, jumping and trekking are common things to see, too. Mountains, lakes, national parks, rivers and old buildings are women watching. Although a great number of the people are under poverty line and uneducated; they are conscious enough to preserve their customs and cultures. They are politically aware, too. My country’s present need is educational and economic development, and democratic norms and values. I love my country. I was born for it and I’ll die for it. On the whole, Nepal is such a dreamland of mine where I can live happily. It is the visitors ‘paradise where nature is alive. It is such s place the world where its single touch refreshes everyone. Nepal lies in the southern part of Asia between China and India. It is landlocked country. It has area of 1,47,181 square km. The capital city is Kathmandu. Nepal can be divided into three ecological zone. The Himalayan regions, the Hilly region and the Terai region. The Himalayan region covers 15% of land area, the Hilly region has 68% and the Terai region has 17% of land area. Nepal’s standard time is 5 hours and 45 minutes faster than the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), that is London time. Nepal is practically divided into 5 development regions, 14 zones and 75 districts. Nepal has nearly 25 million of population. Nepal is rich in natural diversity. It has many species of plant and animals. Nepal is also reach in hydro power. It has many powerful rivers like Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali. Nepal is a paradise for the tourists. They can do many things like trekking, rafting and mountaineering. Therefore, industries based on tourism should be established here so that every Nepali gets employed. Moreover, Nepal will become the destination of the tourists.
