A Division League Champions Church Boys United🔴 will take on Bhutanese League Champions Paro F.C🟡 in a Play-Off match for a spot in the group stage of the newly introduced AFC's third-tier continental club football competition, the AFC Challenge League 2024/25🏆.

The qualifying team will be rewarded with the prize money of $1,00,000/- for participation in the Group Stage.

Note: The AFC Challenge League🏆 is the rebranded and reintroduced version of the previous AFC President's Cup🏆, which was initiated in 2005 and discontinued in 2014. Nepal🇳🇵 hosted the inaugural tournament in 2005. Previous participants from Nepal include Three Star Club🔵 (2005), Nepal Police Club🔴 (2007, 2008), and Manang Marshyangdi Club🔵 (2014). Notably, Nepal Police Club🔴 achieved the highest honor for a Nepalese🇳🇵 team by becoming the runners-up in 2007.

Nepal have been drawn alongside Japan, Qatar and Mongolia in Group F of 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualification. The draw was held on 13 June 2024 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. All the Group F matches will be played in Qatar from October 23-27, 2024. The top team will qualify for 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup.
