Nepal Full Contact Karate Federation and Star Hospital Sign Health Service Agreement

Lalitpur, Nepal — A significant milestone has been achieved for the Nepal Full Contact Karate community. The Nepal Full Contact Karate Federation has officially signed a Health Service Agreement with Star Hospital Limited, located in Ward No. 2 of Lalitpur Metropolitan City.

Under this agreement, all players, instructors, officials, members, and associates affiliated with the federation will be able to access necessary medical services at Star Hospital in a more affordable, accessible, and organized manner.

The agreement, made in accordance with prevailing laws and mutual understanding between both parties, has come into effect from the day of the agreement.

The federation extended special thanks to Rabindra Maharjan and National Sports Council Board Member Mr. Jagat Singh Dhami for their important roles in facilitating this collaboration. Gratitude was also expressed toward the Star Hospital family for their support and cooperation in making this partnership possible.

This agreement marks an important step forward in promoting the health and well-being of all members of Nepal’s Full Contact Karate fraternity.

The IKO Matsushima World Kyokushin Karate Tournament is coming soon with exciting men’s and women’s weight categories:

Women: Under 55 Kg | 55–65 Kg | Over 65 Kg
Men: Under 70 Kg | 70–85 Kg | Over 85 Kg

Some sources suggest that Nepal could participate, but nothing is confirmed yet. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we get official news.

काठमाडौं – सिम्रिक युवा क्योकुशिन कराते डोजो, बज्र सिम्रिक युवा परिवारले २०८२ भदौ २१ गते (२०२५ सेप्टेम्बर ६) स्व. गुरु रामजी प्रसाद बज्राचार्यको सम्झनामा सन्नी सिंहलाई विशेष सम्मान गरेका छन्।

सिम्रिक युवा डोजो स्व. गुरु रामजीले लामो समयसम्म विद्यार्थीहरूलाई प्रशिक्षण दिनुभएको डोजो हो। श्रीलंकामा जुलाई २७, २०२५ मा सम्पन्न २५औं दक्षिण एशियाली इन्टरनेशनल फुल कन्ट्याक्ट ओपन च्याम्पियनसिपमा स्वर्णपदक जितेका सन्नीलाई सोही डोजोमै सम्मान गरिएको हो।

अतिथिहरूले सन्नीको उपलब्धिले नेपाली कराते र राष्ट्रलाई गौरवान्वित बनाएको बताए। सिम्रिक युवा परिवारले खेलाडीहरूलाई सहयोग र प्रोत्साहन गर्दै करातेको विकासमा निरन्तर योगदान दिने आश्वासन व्यक्त गरेका छन्।

Kathmandu – Simrik Yuwa Kyokushin Karate Do – Bajra Simrik Yuwa Family, Chhetrapati successfully organized a felicitation program on August 27, 2025 (Bhadra 11, 2082 BS).
The program, held in memory of the late Guru Ramji Prasad Bajracharya, honored Sanny Singh, the gold medalist of the 25th South Asian International Full Contact Open Championship held in Sri Lanka on July 27, 2025.

Simrik Yuwa Sub Dojo the place where the late Guru Ramji trained students for many years in the past. Over time, the dojo has produced numerous national and international players. Against this backdrop, felicitating Sanny at the same dojo added special meaning to the program, symbolizing the continuation of its proud legacy.

Guests at the event remarked that Sanny’s achievement has brought pride not only to Nepalese karate but also to the nation. They expressed confidence that his dedication will inspire the younger generation toward even greater success. The Simrik Yuwa Family reaffirmed their pride in Sanny’s achievement and their commitment to continuously supporting and encouraging athletes.
