Pahachare means the day of guests where paha means guests and chare means a specific day of a month.

Buddha Jayanti Jatra || 2081|| Kirtipur

Buddha Jayanti, also known as Buddha Purnima, is a significant religious festival celebrated by Buddhists around the world. It marks the birth, enlightenment (nirvana), and death (parinirvana) of Gautama Buddha. This triple event is observed on the full moon day of the Baisakha month (usually in April or May) according to the lunar calendar.

"Buddha Jayanti Samaroha" refers to the celebration or observance of Buddha Jayanti, also known as Buddha Purnima, which marks the birth, enlightenment, and death (parinirvana) of Gautama Buddha.

Dipankara Buddha, also spelled Dipamkara or Dipankar, is a significant figure in Buddhist tradition. He is one of the Buddhas of the past, known for his role in the lineage of Buddhas that culminates in the historical Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama.

करुणामय जात्रा" भगवान बुद्धको अवतार मानिने देवता करुणामयको सम्मानमा मनाइने वार्षिक उत्सव हो। यस पर्वको नेपालका नेवार समुदायका लागि सांस्कृतिक र धार्मिक महत्व रहेको छ ।

करुणामय जात्राको समयमा, भक्तहरू विभिन्न अनुष्ठान, जुलुस र सांस्कृतिक प्रदर्शनहरूमा भाग लिएर करुणामायालाई श्रद्धांजलि अर्पण गर्न भेला हुन्छन्। उत्सवमा सामान्यतया रंगीन जुलुसहरू रथहरू सहित सडकहरूमा करुणामायाको छवि बोकेर, संगीत, नृत्य र जपका साथ समावेश हुन्छन्।
