Why aren’t Nepali farmers proud of their legacy?
In many parts of the world, farming is celebrated across 5-6-7 generations carrying forward years of soil care, pride, and sustainability. Yet in Nepal, second-generation farming is rarely seen as a proud career choice.
True agricultural progress isn't just about land ownership; it's about preserving and enriching the land we leave for the next generation.
Watch the full clip to explore how we can shift the narrative around farming in Nepal. 👇

How market shifts redefine film distribution.

When a massive release like Dhurandhar dominates theatrical spaces, regional and independent films are often forced to rethink their strategy.

Director Nabin Chauhan shares the story behind Unko Sweater's release strategy in India. Instead of competing for limited, high risk theater screens where regional films rarely get fair consideration, the team pivoted to a dedicated digital release, directly connecting with a passionate, organic cinephile audience that values authentic storytelling.

It’s a clear look at how adaptability and smart positioning matter just as much as story ex*****on.

From local roots to a cross-border phenomenon Unko Sweater showed that great storytelling knows no borders. Director Nabin Chauhan breaks down the entire journey from hitting 17M+ views in just 5 months to taking regional cinema across international borders.

Nabin unpacks The Numbers behind the film's phenomenal growth, revealing how daily viewership exploded exponentially overnight and proved the massive appetite for authentic storytelling.

He shares The Vision of bridging regional roots with a broader reach, discussing the hustle behind releasing the film across major hubs like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, while tackling the commercial challenges regional filmmakers face.

Looking ahead to What’s Next, he teases why the upcoming Part 2 is designed to be bigger, grander, and positioned as a truly global cinema experience.

We hosted a episode with Director and Writer of Unko Sweater, Nabin Chauhan. He grew up in Nawamidanda, a village in Panchthar so remote that roads never reached it. He tried his hand at business and watched it fail before cinema ever entered the picture. By the time Unko Sweater was released, he wasn't a filmmaker chasing a dream, he was a man who had already been humbled enough times to tell a story without pretending.

In this episode, we talk:

-Why owning your YouTube distribution platform early changes the power dynamics of modern filmmaking forever.

-What actually happens behind closed doors when navigating censor board delays, tight release windows, and sleepless production nights.

-Why true leadership on set relies on human kindness and operational discipline rather than artificial hype or ego.

-What "global cinema" truly means when you eliminate regional boundaries and design stories that transcend language.

-Why the ultimate evolution for a visionary creator is transitioning from a solo director to building a whole creative ecosystem for other artists.

The film made रू11 crore on a budget of रू2 crore, but the number was never the point for Chauhan, the point was proving a story from a roadless village in Panchthar could hold a country's attention. If you're building something in Nepal and think your background isn't cinematic enough to matter, this says otherwise.

Stay Tuned for the episode.

What does Nepal actually need to build a future-proof ecosystem?

In this latest episode, we break down why the conversation around Nepal’s development needs a shift in perspective. The problem isn’t a lack of resources. It’s how we connect the pieces.

It’s not money, talent, or energy that we are missing. It’s strategic partnerships, global linkages, and cohesive ex*****on. Without strong global connections, local potential remains untapped.

How do you think Nepalese enterprises and tech creators can better build these global bridges?
