विशेष अदालतले सर्लाहीको बागमती नगरपालिकाका निलम्बित मेयर भरत थापालाई भ्रष्टाचार गरेको ठहर गर्दै ८ वर्ष कैद र १० करोड रुपैयाँ जरिवाना निर्धारण गरेको छ।

विशेष अदालतले थापा, विमलकुमार पोखरेल र सागर पौडेललाई नदीजन्य पदार्थमा हानी नोक्सानी गरेको ठहर गर्दै ८ वर्ष कैद र जनही १० करोड जरिवाना निर्धारण गरेको छ।

तीनै प्रतिवादीहरूले जनही ४० लाख ३९ हजार १३१ रुपैयाँ पीडित राहत कोषमा क्षतिपूर्ति शुल्क दाखिला गर्नुपर्ने अदालतले आदेश दिएको छ।
