Himalayan Literature Festival & Writers Workshop 2026 Warm-Up Reading at New Delhi World Book Fair
We are delighted to welcome Austrian poet and novelist Andreas Unterweger to the Himalayan Literature Festival & Writers Workshop (HLF-WWK) 2026 Warm-Up Reading, held at the International Pavilion, Hall 4, New Delhi World Book Fair, on 14 January at 11:00 a.m.
The event will also feature the launch of Yuyutsu Sharma’s new poetry collection, In God’s Messy Workplace: New Poems.
A leading voice in contemporary European literature, Andreas Unterweger is an Austrian writer and the editor of the legendary literary magazine manuskripte. Born in Graz, Austria, he is the author of several acclaimed works of poetry and prose, including Haus ohne Türen. Gedichte (2025), So long, Annemarie (2022), Das gelbe Buch (The Yellow Book), and Wie im Siebenten (On Cloud No. 7).
His writing has been widely translated and published internationally, with notable editions released in Paris and Belgrade. Unterweger is the recipient of major literary honors, including the Academy of Graz Literary Prize and the prestigious manuskripte Prize.
