We are thrilled to feature Mr. Saramsha Dotel, a Pulchowk Campus alumnus (072 BCT) and former CTO of Naamche, in the sixteenth edition of The Zerone magazine. From classrooms at Pulchowk Campus to building products on a global scale, Mr. Dotel shares his experiences shaped by learning, building, and quiet persistence.

Speaking on his academic journey and his path to Naamche, he reflects on how growth often emerges from uncertain choices, shaped by commitment to the work rather than clarity of the path. His experience offers valuable insights for students navigating their own academic and early professional journeys.

The Zerone is Pulchowk Campus’s annual technical magazine, accentuating insightful articles, interviews, and event coverage. We highlight aspirational figures across the creative and technical fields, building a space for thoughtful and honest discussions.

Physical copies of the magazine will be available during the LOCUS main event, and head over to our Medium page for more features:

Words can express so much in so many different ways, and when you have this many excellent works at hand, it becomes impossible to fully appreciate them by choosing only a winning article. 📝

So, we decided to highlight a few pieces that demonstrated all the qualities of a winner but narrowly missed the final cut. These works stood out for their depth, clarity, and impact and deserve to be celebrated just the same. 🎉

To acknowledge these efforts, we're announcing one honorable mention from each category, recognizing the strength and impact of these selected pieces.

Our honorable mentions are:
The Death of Leisure: Sneha Joshi
Surviving the Age of Information Overload: Mamata Maharjan
Happiness of Excellence: Mahima Thapa

Thank you to everyone who contributed with their amazing writing and insightful ideas. 💡

To the Fourth-Year Students and Alumni of Pulchowk Campus,
When it comes to life, and especially college, experience is the best teacher. Unfortunately, its lessons often arrive a little too late.

Through this year’s “I Wish I Had Known…”, The Zerone invites fourth-year students and alumni to bridge that gap by sharing their hard-won insights with their juniors.
What insight, regret, or lesson do you wish you had known earlier? Something that could have changed your journey, or at least made it clearer. Sharing it now can shape the paths of those who haven’t completed theirs, especially those just starting out.

Just keep your wisdom under 300 words. Don't worry too much about perfect grammar, just make sure it connects. The responses, along with your photos, will be featured in this year’s edition of the Zerone.

Have you ever sat down and wondered who you would’ve been without the medals hanging from your shelves and the countless congratulations messages from people on the Internet? If you were to strip your life of all the success that defines you, would you be proud of yourself, or would you feel like your joy is taken away? 🏅

With writing, we love reflecting on things that live deep within us, in a place too dark for outer achievements to follow. Let’s travel there with fellow writers who will show you how you can light this place up. Or just maybe, they’ll trap you inside their own absurdities in the most poetic way possible. ✨📖

Regardless, let’s follow the writers of Happiness of Excellence on this journey to explore things you haven’t comprehended yet. Reflect honestly and vote for the articles you like, sharing the feeling of 'Happiness of Excellence' itself to writers you resonate with. 💡
