The ink has dried on last year's pages, but the story is far from over. Like a blank canvas waiting for its artist, The Zerone is now ready to welcome fresh voices into our literary fold.

So, if you're someone who finds themselves down Wikipedia rabbit holes at midnight, who gets genuinely excited when you discover a new word that perfectly describes something you've always felt, who sees a random campus event and thinks "I bet there's a story there that nobody's telling," or if you've ever wished you could just sit down with someone you’ve always found uhh-mazing and ask them all the questions that keep you up at night, then this is your sign to stop waiting and start writing the next chapter with us.

Are there things in life that, when achieved, only give the illusion of success? After all, there is no universal definition of "success"; its meaning is entirely dependent on the individual. Therefore, we often find that, because of our evolutionary affinity for conforming to the norm, many people spend their entire lives chasing an illusory idea of success—only to realize, often when it's too late, their "self" is not satiated by this illusion.

We’re excited to announce our first ever Read Out Loud session—a space where we come together, share pieces of writing that have stayed with us, and simply gush about them.

Rules:

Just fill out the registration form to book your spot and show up. Filling out the form is not mandatory, but it will help us ensure that we'll have enough food, magazines and possibly some freebies for all.

Bring a piece of writing that speaks to you—whether it’s a poem, an excerpt from a book, a passage, quotes, lyrics from your favorite song, or even dialogues from a cinematic piece. You’re welcome to read your own original work or something by someone else. Each speaker will have 6–7 minutes to read their piece out loud and share their thoughts. While we highly encourage you to participate, reading is not compulsory—you’re welcome to simply drop by and listen!
