lately, i’ve been enjoying my own company. i don’t care if everyone stopped texting me, calling me or inviting to go somewhere. i’ve decided to stop forcing things and let it be. at some point, i realized that everything that is one-sided won’t bring good outcomes. it applies to both friendship and relationship. these are days where i enjoy doing activities on my own like buy myself a cup of coffee, go to watch movie and buy my favorite popcorn flavors, water my plants and i’m so contented by doing that because it brings me peace of mind and it doesn’t bother anyone.

in case no one has told you today, i hope you know that you are not hard to love, you are never too much. you can’t be too much for the right person. never dim your light just so you can fit in the standard of what society has made. the right person will never get tired of fighting for you, choosing you. but until that person come, choose yourself first, always.

life can really be emotionally abusive, so you need to learn how to be okay on your own without needing someone’s help. you must pick yourself up after every fall. pat yourself on the back when you make a mistake or achieve something that put your efforts into. what you shouldn’t do is waiting for someone to save you from drowning or provide anything for you. be independent, learn how to be strong alone.

one day you’ll look back and think “those pains don’t affect my emotions anymore” and you glad that you’ve moved on from the situations that you thought you wouldn’t be. when that day comes, i hope you can enjoy your life to its fullest and try to do good things that add colors to your future moments. it doesn’t have to big things, you can start from something small such as listen to new music, take yourself for a date, explore new cities, eat your favorite cakes, read your favorite novels, or meet people. we all going through different phases in our life, but one thing for sure is we’ll make it through this together.
