Dr. CK RAUT DEMANDED FOR PROVINCE POLICE !!

"If the Province Police had already been established, this situation could have been handled at the provincial level without depending on the Office of the Prime Minister.

The provincial police would have understood the local social context and spoken the local language. But now, police officers deployed from outside often do not understand the local language, making communication with the public difficult.

This is one of the reasons why we believe provinces should be given more authority. At present, even the Chief District Officer (CDO) and the SP are not accountable to the Chief Minister of province. Strengthening the provinces and placing the police under provincial authority is one part of the solution.

We also believe the Nepal Army should be made more inclusive. If security personnel include people who understand the local language and community, communication with the public will improve and unnecessary use of force may be avoided. That is why we have raised the demand to make the Nepal Army more inclusive and to implement the earlier agreements on inclusiveness."

ATTEMPT TO MAKE GOVERNMENT INEFFECTIVE !!

"We believe certain groups were trying to exploit the situation. I have said this openly before, and I have also been criticized for it. But I believe there appears to have been some involvement or failure on the part of state agencies as well.

Whether it was an attempt to make the government look ineffective, create pressure, or bring changes within the government, that needs to be examined.

Why was the electricity cut off? Why was the body kept for five days? Why were the CDOs on leave? How was the situation transferred to another district? Why was the Army deployed immediately? If you watch the videos, the way the Army was dealing with the public did not appear normal.

That is why I feel compelled to say that this aspect should also be investigated. If necessary, police personnel should also receive retraining on handling such situations."

HE WAS NOT PUJARI !!

Police have clarified that the deceased, Banthu Raut (around 40 years old), whose body was found inside the temple premises at Nahar Chowk, Ward No. 12 of Sabaila Municipality, Dhanusha, on the night of 2083/04/15, was not the temple priest, but a person who used to wander around and sleep at the temple.

A police investigation team, including a sniffer dog unit, has been deployed and the investigation is ongoing.

According to the preliminary investigation, the deceased used to work outside during the day and sleep at the temple at night. Police said the incident appears to be a purely criminal act and have urged everyone not to link it to any religious dispute and to help maintain peace.

Police have also assured the public that whoever is responsible for the crime will be brought within the scope of the law.

DONT GIVE RELIGIOUS AGNLE TO IT !!

Police have urged the public not to give a religious angle to the mu*rder of 45 year old Banthu Raut, who was found ki*lled inside a temple in Sabaila Municipality, Dhanusha, last night.

According to police, the case is still under investigation, and it has not yet been established who committed the mur*der or what the motive was.

Banthu Raut had returned to Nepal from India only a few days ago and had been staying at the temple.

Police said it has not been determined whether the suspect is Hindu or Muslim, and since the motive is also unknown, they have urged the public and media not to portray the incident as a religious issue.

A 45 year old man of Ward No. 12 of Sabaila Municipality, Dhanusha, has reportedly been found murdered yesterday night by slitting his throat in Hanuman Temple.

According to local residents, the man sleeping in the Shiva Hanuman Temple at Raghunathpur Nahar Chowk was kil*led during the night.

Sabaila Municipality Mayor Kariram Yadav has also confirmed that the man was murd*ered by having his th*roat sl*it.

POLICE OFFICER SHOT IN SIRAHA !!

A police officer was also shot during the incident and has been taken to Biratnagar for treatment.

According to Siraha District Police Chief SP Basudev Pathak, Police Head Constable Narad Pariyar, who is posted at the Area Police Office, Lahan, sustained a gunshot injury to his right thigh.

A total of 22 security personnel were injured in the incident, including 7 Armed Police Force personnel. SP Pathak said the other injured personnel sustained minor injuries and are receiving treatment locally.
