पोखरा ५, श्रावण: असार महिना नेपाली फिल्म उद्योगका लागि व्यावसायिक रूपमा उत्साहजनक रहेन, जसमा केवल एउटा नेपाली फिल्म प्रदर्शनमा आयो। हाल देशभरका सिनेमा हलहरूमा १४ वटा फिल्म प्रदर्शनरत छन्, जसमध्ये १२ वटा विदेशी फिल्म हुन्। बाँकी दुई नेपाली फिल्महरू ‘ऊनको स्वीटर’ र ‘यो मन त मेरो नेपाली हो’ ले भने विदेशी फिल्मको तुलनामा निकै कम शो पाएका छन्। वैशाख २६ गते प्रदर्शनमा आएको सफल फिल्म ‘ऊनको स्वीटर’ ले साउन ५ गते सोमबार तीनवटा शो पाएको छ। यो फिल्म ७४ दिनदेखि हलमा टिकिरहेको छ, जुन यसको व्यावसायिक सफलताको सूचक हो। अर्कोतर्फ, असार २७ गते प्रदर्शनमा आएको ‘यो मन त मेरो नेपाली हो’ बक्स अफिसमा कमजोर प्रदर्शन गर्दै प्रदर्शनको ११ औँ दिनमै तीन शोमा खुम्चिएको छ। यसरी, हाल यी दुवै नेपाली फिल्मले समान तीन–तीन शो प्राप्त गरेका छन्, जुन नेपाली हलहरूमा प्रदर्शनरत विदेशी फिल्मको संख्याको ठीक आधा हो।...

पोखरा ५, श्रावण: कर्णाली प्रदेश सरकारले तुइन विस्थापन गरी झोलुङ्गे पुल निर्माण गर्ने नीति अनुरूप तथ्याङ्क सङ्कलन गरेको छ। भौतिक पूर्वाधार तथा सहरी विकास मन्त्रालयका सिनियर डिभिजनल इन्जिनियर रमेश सुवेदीले दिएको जानकारीअनुसार प्रदेशका १० जिल्लामध्ये सात जिल्लाबाट ५० वटा तुइनको विवरण प्राप्त भएको छ। यस तथ्याङ्कले कर्णाली प्रदेशलाई तुइनमुक्त बनाउने सरकारी अभियानको आधार तयार पारेको छ। सङ्कलित विवरणअनुसार सबैभन्दा धेरै तुइन हुम्ला जिल्लामा रहेका छन्, जहाँ १५ वटा तुइन सञ्चालनमा छन्। हुम्लामा मात्र कर्णाली नदीमाथि ६ वटा तुइन रहेको उल्लेख छ। यसैगरी, कालीकोट र जाजरकोटमा १२-१२ वटा, दैलेख र मुगुमा २-२ वटा, डोल्पामा ३ वटा र सुर्खेतमा ८ वटा तुइन रहेको पाइएको छ। जुम्ला र रुकुम पश्चिमबाट भने तुइनको विवरण अझै प्राप्त भएको छैन।...

पोखरा ५, श्रावण: आज साउन महिनाको पहिलो सोमबार भएकाले काठमाडौंको पशुपतिनाथसहित देशभरका शिवालयहरूमा बिहानैदेखि श्रद्धालु भक्तजनको उल्लेख्य भीड लागेको छ। साउन महिनालाई भगवान शिवको महिना मानिने र सोमबार उहाँको प्रिय बार भएकाले यस दिन विशेषगरी पशुपतिनाथमा दर्शन तथा पूजाअर्चना गर्न व्रतालुहरूको घुइँचो लाग्ने गर्दछ। आशुतोष भगवान शिवको पूजा तथा आराधनाका लागि यस दिनको विशेष महत्व रहेको छ। नेपालमा सौरमासअनुसार सोमबार व्रत गर्ने परम्परा रहे पनि पशुपतिनाथ मन्दिरमा भने चान्द्रमास र सौरमास दुवैअनुसार साउन महिनाका सोमबारहरूमा विशेष भीड लाग्ने गरेको छ। यस वर्ष साउन महिनामा चारवटा सोमबार परेका छन्।
