In Kathmandu in 1978, renting a bicycle typically cost between 2 to 5 Nepalese rupees (NPR) per day, depending on the type of bike and where you rented it. Standard Indian-made roadsters (the most common rental bikes) were usually 2 to 3 rupees per day - for better-condition bikes or newer models, some shops charged 4 to 5 rupees per day.

For comparison, a simple hotel room in Kathmandu in 1978 might have cost 5 to 10 rupees per night, and a meal of dal bhat was around 1 to 2 rupees.

USD $1 = approx. 12–13 NPR

AUD $1 = approx. 10–11 NPR

Trekking permit (Annapurna, Everest) - 50–100 NPR

Kathmandu to Pokhara bus - 15–20 NPR

ग्यास्ट्रिक (ग्यास्टिक) वा पेटको ग्यास सम्बन्धी समस्या कम गर्न घरेलु रुपमा बनाइने पाउडर तयार गर्न सकिने केही प्राकृतिक सामाग्रीहरू तल दिइएको छ:

ग्यास्ट्रिकको घरेलु पाउडर बनाउन चाहिने सामग्री:

1. जिरा (Cumin seeds) – 50 ग्राम

2. धनियाँ (Coriander seeds) – 50 ग्राम

3. सौंफ (Fennel seeds) – 50 ग्राम

4. अजवाइन (Carom seeds) – 25 ग्राम

5. सुक्खा अदुवा (Dry ginger powder) – 25 ग्राम

6. कालो नुन (Black salt) – 25 ग्राम

7. हींग (Asafoetida) – 5 ग्राम

8. पुदिना सुकाएको पाउडर (Dry mint powder) – 10 ग्राम (वैकल्पिक)

बनाउने तरिका:

1. सबै मसला सामग्रीहरूलाई हल्का तातो तवामा सेक्नुहोस् (बिना तेल) – ज्वरो मध्यम राख्नुहोस्।

2. चिसो भएपछि मिक्सर वा सिलौटोमा पीस्नुहोस्।

3. राम्रोसँग मिलाएर एयरटाइट कन्टेनरमा राख्नुहोस्।

सेवन गर्ने तरिका:

खाना खाइसकेपछि आधा चम्चा पाउडर तातोपानीसँग लिनुहोस्।

दिनमा 1–2 पटक लिन सकिन्छ।

यो मिश्रण पाचन सुधार गर्न, ग्यास हटाउन, र पेटलाई हल्का बनाउन सहयोगी हुन्छ।H

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐎𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐠

The Samsung Group is a South Korea-based conglomerate company that includes subsidiaries. It's one of the largest businesses in Korea, producing nearly one-fifth of the country's total exports with a primary focus on electronics, heavy industry, construction, and defense. Other major subsidiaries of Samsung include insurance, advertising, and entertainment businesses.

With only 30,000 won (about US$27), Lee Byung-chul started Samsung as a trading company based in a city called Taegu in what is now South Korea, in 1938. With only 40 employees, Samsung began as a grocery store, trading, and exporting goods produced in and around the city. It sold dried Korean fish and vegetables, as well as noodles.

The company grew and expanded to Seoul in 1947 but left when the Korean War broke out. Following the war, Lee started a sugar refinery in Busan before expanding into textiles and building what was, at the time, the largest woolen mill in Korea.

This early diversification became a successful growth strategy for Samsung, which rapidly expanded into the insurance, securities, and retail businesses. After the war, Samsung focused on the redevelopment of Korea, especially industrialization.
