After landing the previous fish, my Dad hooked up shortly after, leaving us with a tough call to make. 🎣
Do we stay where the bite’s hot, or take a risk to chase the spot that may hold the bigger snapper as the sun sets? 🌅 We chose to risk it and chase a bigger fish.

Using the 15ft Assassin Horizon 6 Championship Edition paired with 50lb X-Braid, I was able to get my baits over the outer banks with ease, as the water pushed in and bank became much further out.
Using a Di**le Dangle on a fixed trace and some fresh kahawai, I managed to tempt this 67cm snapper, fat, energetic fighter.
