Anthony is a happy boi at .akl on our date night ❤️

Tried the DELISH dessert, DELISH is two months of indulgent dining, immersive events, and unforgettable gatherings across .

We started with the oysters with niu tea vinegar and smoked apple. The Umala sourdough with spiced butter disappeared embarrassingly fast, and the Mamoe lamb pie was packed with flavour, with the kaffir lime salt adding a really nice touch.

For mains, the roasted chicken leg was incredibly tender and paired with pumpkin, shiitake mushrooms and miso, while the Povi beef scotch fillet was the standout for us. Perfectly cooked, rich and juicy, served with tofu curd, wood-fired shiitake pickle and jus. 🥩

To finish, we had the Pudini Niu dessert. Inspired by Chef Tommy Hope's childhood memories of rice pudding, pavlova and spending pocket money on lollies from the dairy, it combined coconut rice pudding, mango, pavlova and kalamansi sorbet into something that felt both nostalgic and completely new. 🥥🥭

And of course, we had to try the DELISH Espresso Martini. ☕🍸

This matcha strawberry and Ube pandan French toast need to be on your brunch list.

We also tried their new Nashville Mozza Chicken with Crispy Nashville hot chicken and cheesy flowing mozzarella sauce. The Tex-Mex Chilli Burger has Double smashed beef patties and Tex-Mex Chili so it is definitely a meaty hefty brunch item.

After years of creating content, one thing I've learnt is that the filming is actually the easy part 😅

The real work happens behind the scenes, researching new places, planning content, replying to emails, organising brand campaigns, reviewing analytics, and somehow keeping track of a never-ending list of restaurants to visit.

That's why having tools that help streamline the process makes such a difference. Lately I've been using the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 to plan content, brainstorm ideas, and multitask between emails, meetings and editing while I'm on the go. It has saved me so much time and it is just so easy and light to carry with me everywhere!

What’s one thing you've learnt from your job that most people probably don't realise? 👇
