Tired of answering the same question on your Business Messenger Chats? Too much typing, too much admin!

Multiple customers often ask the same question - How much does it cost? What are your hours? Where are you based? etc. Save the time and hassle by setting up FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) that people can click on and automatically receive the answer without you having to lift a finger.

Follow these steps to set up FAQ's (on desktop/laptop computer)...
1. Go to your Facebook Business Page
2. Click on 'Meta Business Suite' on the left-hand side
3. Click on 'Inbox' on the left-hand side
4. Click the Automations icon at the top of the page (symbol shown in comments)
5. Click 'Create Automation' on the top right-hand side
6 Click on 'Frequently Asked Questions'

From there, follow the prompts to type out whatever questions you're frequently asked along with your preferred answer. Save and voila! Next time someone goes to message you, your FAQ's will pop up in the text box and they can click on whichever one they want. They'll get sent an automatic reply with the answer and you don't have to do a thing!

⭐️ Step-by-step Instructions on How to Create a Facebook Business Page ⭐️

Before you begin:
1. You must have a Facebook profile.
2. Open your Facebook profile on a laptop/desktop computer.

To create a Page (laptop/desktop):
1. From the Pages section, click Create new Page.
2. Add your Page name and category.
3. Add your Page's bio and click Create.
4. Add information, such as contact, location and hours, and click Next.
5. Add profile and cover photos, edit the action button and click Next.
6. Invite friends to connect with your Page, and click Next.
7. Click Done.

You have created a Page in the new Pages experience. Now that your page is live, you'll need to make sure you create a CUSTOMISED USERNAME for your business page! THIS IS IMPORTANT ❗️❗️ (See a post on how to create a customised username here - Digital Pulse Media NZ)

You can also set up Auto-Responses for your business Messenger, schedule Posts/Stories/Reels, and create Facebook Ad Campaigns.

How do I change my personal Facebook profile into a business page? The short answer is - you can't.

Unfortunately, Facebook no longer allows this option. However, there's a way around this! If you want to use your personal Facebook profile for business purposes you can turn on "PROFESSIONAL MODE".

Professional mode gives you access to a bundle of professional tools, insights and monetisation products that can help you build your professional presence from your personal profile. Previously, these tools and features were available only on Pages.

Here’s how you can turn on professional mode:
1. Go to your Facebook profile.
2. Below your profile header, click or tap the menu button (…) on the right side.
3. Click or tap Turn on professional mode.
4. To confirm, click or tap Turn on and complete the flow.
