Tired of answering the same question on your Business Messenger Chats? Too much typing, too much admin!

Multiple customers often ask the same question - How much does it cost? What are your hours? Where are you based? etc. Save the time and hassle by setting up FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) that people can click on and automatically receive the answer without you having to lift a finger.

Follow these steps to set up FAQ's (on desktop/laptop computer)...
1. Go to your Facebook Business Page
2. Click on 'Meta Business Suite' on the left-hand side
3. Click on 'Inbox' on the left-hand side
4. Click the Automations icon at the top of the page (symbol shown in comments)
5. Click 'Create Automation' on the top right-hand side
6 Click on 'Frequently Asked Questions'

From there, follow the prompts to type out whatever questions you're frequently asked along with your preferred answer. Save and voila! Next time someone goes to message you, your FAQ's will pop up in the text box and they can click on whichever one they want. They'll get sent an automatic reply with the answer and you don't have to do a thing!

⭐️ Step-by-step Instructions on How to Create a Facebook Business Page ⭐️

Before you begin:
1. You must have a Facebook profile.
2. Open your Facebook profile on a laptop/desktop computer.

To create a Page (laptop/desktop):
1. From the Pages section, click Create new Page.
2. Add your Page name and category.
3. Add your Page's bio and click Create.
4. Add information, such as contact, location and hours, and click Next.
5. Add profile and cover photos, edit the action button and click Next.
6. Invite friends to connect with your Page, and click Next.
7. Click Done.

You have created a Page in the new Pages experience. Now that your page is live, you'll need to make sure you create a CUSTOMISED USERNAME for your business page! THIS IS IMPORTANT ❗️❗️ (See a post on how to create a customised username here - Digital Pulse Media NZ)

You can also set up Auto-Responses for your business Messenger, schedule Posts/Stories/Reels, and create Facebook Ad Campaigns.

How do I change my personal Facebook profile into a business page? The short answer is - you can't.

Unfortunately, Facebook no longer allows this option. However, there's a way around this! If you want to use your personal Facebook profile for business purposes you can turn on "PROFESSIONAL MODE".

Professional mode gives you access to a bundle of professional tools, insights and monetisation products that can help you build your professional presence from your personal profile. Previously, these tools and features were available only on Pages.

Here’s how you can turn on professional mode:
1. Go to your Facebook profile.
2. Below your profile header, click or tap the menu button (…) on the right side.
3. Click or tap Turn on professional mode.
4. To confirm, click or tap Turn on and complete the flow.

Use Meta Business Suite's automated responses to efficiently manage messages on Facebook and Instagram, helping you reach more customers and foster stronger relationships by automatically replying to interactions based on specific events or keywords. For example, you can set up an automated response for anyone that sends a message to your business inbox, thanking them for getting in touch and letting them know someone will get back to them soon. Facebook algorithms love quick response times to messages!

Before you begin: These steps apply for the Meta Business Suite desktop experience only. Follow these instructions using a laptop or desktop computer (not your phone).

How to set up automated responses:
1. Start by going to your Inbox on Meta Business Suite desktop.
2. Click Automated responses.
3. Review the type of automated responses available and click on the drop-down menu to expand your options.

Create your own:
1. Click Custom keywords.
2. Create a name for your automated response.
3. Select whether you want to send the automated response on Messenger, Instagram or both.
4. Add up to five keywords or phrases. Remember, when someone uses any of these keywords or phrases in a message to your business, they'll get an automatic response.
5. Select the timing for when you want to send the automated message. Remember, this is the amount of time after someone sends you a message that they'll receive that automated response.
6. Customise your automated message with text, photos, videos, buttons and personalisation.
7. Preview how the message will look on the right.
8. Click Save.

How to add a Page Admin to your Facebook Business Page...

You can give someone Facebook access with full control or partial control. People with Facebook access with full control or partial control can switch into the Page and manage it on Facebook. If you give someone Facebook access with full control, this means that this person can give access to other people, remove anyone from the Page (including you) or delete the Page.

To give someone Facebook access to a Page in the new Pages experience:
1. Log in to Facebook, then click your profile photo in the top right.
3. Click See all profiles, then select the Page that you want to switch into.
3. Click your Page's profile picture in the top right to go to your Page.
4. Click Settings and privacy, then click Settings.
5. Click Page setup, then click View next to Page access.
6. Next to People with Facebook access, click Add new.
7. Click Next, type the name or email address of the person you want to give Facebook access, then click their name.

From here, you can choose to give the person Facebook access with full control or partial control:
- To give Facebook access with partial control: Scroll down, then click Give access.
- To give Facebook access with full control: Scroll down, click to allow this person to have full control, then click Give access.

Type your Facebook password, then click Confirm.

The person will receive an email to accept your invitation to access your Page.
