Spoke with Rory by phone today, and he is in amazing spirits and so positive about his progress and what lays ahead.

He’s doing his best to catch up on all the messages and respond to all, but the show of support from everyone all over the country has been immense, and with limited functions still it is hard to respond to everyone straight away (especially when he needs to buzz the nurse just to put phone on speaker for him) and he still needs frequent rest.

He’s been moved to the spinal unit and has been overwhelmed by the amount of care, help and attention he has been receiving and can’t thank the staff enough. Progress has been great and promising with vast improvement in his legs and the ability to be now helped into a seating position.

Like a typical cowboy he was telling me how great the cantab weather was and how he just wants to get outside.
