WORDS FROM OUR MUSE:
Art has always been my language of feeling.
Clothes became my armor and my confession—every fabric a memory,
every change of hair a rebirth.
Red lipstick somehow power, sensuality,confident.
I studied performing arts in a Mexico City and learned to become many versions of myself, fearless and unapologetic.
And then, after an inner death, I lost the map back to my own name. My style was gone, depressed.
Some days style was my hiding place.
Others, it was the only courage I had left.

People say less is more.
I say: say it all. Wear your soul. Show your emotions.
Scream in sequins, whisper in silk, demand justice in denim.
Fashion and art gave me a voice when I didn’t know who I was.

This year I vowed to fall in love with myself again—
I with the sacred and the wild,
with being everything and nothing,
with inhabiting my body like a temple of truth.

Thank you, emotional style,
for letting me feel my own skin
and return to myself.
