The University of the South Pacific (USP) is celebrating a major achievement after its School of Law team captured first place in the 2025 Inter-Tertiary Moot Court Competition, defeating Fiji National University (FNU) in a thrilling final round before a distinguished panel of judges.

This year’s winning team include Soane Kualepeli Tupola, Fololeni Loloma, and Ope’anga Hoto Ngu Paunga.

✅ Deborah Misiuepa – Tāmaki resident for over 50 years, with leadership across local government, sport, marae, education, and housing. Deborah’s focus is clear: meaningful work, affordable homes, better transport, and thriving whānau. She backs community-led innovation and strong relationships that deliver real outcomes.

✅ Dianna Fuka – Proud Tongan and passionate about serving with integrity, respect, and compassion. Dianna stands up for youth, families, and elders, and works to build safer, healthier, more connected neighbourhoods - where every voice is valued and cultural inclusion is a given.
