✅ Maria Meredith – Chair of the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board since 2021 and elected member since 2018. A proud Glen Innes local for over 40 years, Maria brings decades of leadership in education, health, business, and cultural spaces. A mother, nana, and champion for safer, stronger neighbourhoods — she’s all about creating real opportunities for the next generation.
✅ Nerissa Henry – 3-term elected leader with 20 years’ governance experience. Nerissa brings energy and action - backing housing solutions, better partnerships, grassroots groups, and climate-friendly development. A fierce advocate for renters, youth, whānau, and multicultural communities, she’s all about inclusion, collaboration, and making sure your voice is heard.
✅ Deborah Misiuepa – Tāmaki resident for over 50 years, with leadership across local government, sport, marae, education, and housing. Deborah’s focus is clear: meaningful work, affordable homes, better transport, and thriving whānau. She backs community-led innovation and strong relationships that deliver real outcomes.
✅ Dianna Fuka – Proud Tongan and passionate about serving with integrity, respect, and compassion. Dianna stands up for youth, families, and elders, and works to build safer, healthier, more connected neighbourhoods - where every voice is valued and cultural inclusion is a given.
