Way back in 2010 when I discovered Deep House genre on Beatport I believe the catalyst for my new obsession was Heartbreaker by Crazy P. This track led me down the ultimate rabbithold and I spent a day or two pillaging of ALL the good Deep House tracks from that era - I was blown away by the smooth and classy 122-124 bpm grooves, excellent clean and well produced with clearly a lot of detail and thought put into some uplifting, steady, silky smooth and sexy beats - and then the vocals 😍. I bought up and backed up my library of around 70 tracks OG Deep house and have repeatedz as much as I can in this Spotify list. Some is sadly not available anywhere my but trusty hard drive ❤️

Beats & Samples is out today, so sit back and relax ... to some ! I found this extremely chill flute sample a while back and love the combo of this smooth and mellow sound that feels like a nice sunday avo nap is on the cards ... but then your best mate turns up with some grimy synth and the beat kicks in and next thing you know you're cranking up the sound and playing air bongos.
