Get pieself to Rosedale Bakery & Cafe for the best pie in the land! Our Supreme winner at the NZ Bakels Pie Awards 2025 is a french inspired potato top 🥧

Sam So’s stunning pie – a swirled potato top with a centre of fondant-style cooked potatoes finished in au gratin layers with saucy beef. He came up with the recipe for after seeing a dish of layered potatoes in a food magazine.

I was a happy pie-senter at the 70s inspired event. And it was pie-fect! Here are all the Gold winners:
