2023 SPEAKER Finn Ross; is a climate activist, adventurer and PhD candidate, investigating seaweed as a natural climate solution. Finn has had roles as the co-founder of not-for-profit charity Let Them Fish, founder of The Seaweed Solution, Bomb Bucha CEO and contributor to the genesis of Live Ocean and involved in the Kelp Forest Foundation. Finn is currently the founder of Carbonz, host of the Both Sides Now political podcast and co-chair of Future Farmers New Zealand. Finn is deeply passionate about climate action and the potential of a regenerative food and fibre sector.

He is known for his success with Game-based learning to enhance student engagement, achieving outcomes. His experience ranges from primary school all the way to tertiary sector and integrates game-based learning, yoga, meditation and other andragogy to support his students to transition from school into further study or employment. 🧩🎮

She tutors and lectures at tertiary institutions in New Zealand and sits on the Sustainable Seas National Science Challenge Stakeholder Panel. Veronica deeply loves the ocean and freediving to source kaimoana sustainably. 🐬🤿

2023 SPEAKER 🎉: Andrew Booth, environmentalist, activist, entrepreneur. He served as a leader of Greenpeace for over 15 years, both as an activist putting his life on the line and as a national and international board director. Across these years Greenpeace had some of it’s greatest triumphs, ending radioactive waste dumping at sea, putting an end to whaling, and many others.

In 2010 he founded SolarZeroNZ, one of the world's leading solar power companies. The company is currently on track to deploy over NZ$1bn in the sector.
