No need for panic buying, the supermarkets aren’t disappearing, and a trolley full of bread or bottled water won’t stop the wind and rain.

Instead of rushing the aisles, take 10 minutes at home:

• Secure trampolines, outdoor furniture, and anything that could take off.
• Charge your devices tonight in case of power outages.
• Check in on neighbours, especially those vulnerable or living alone.

Connect with friends and family in effected areas, give them your support

Let’s stay smart, avoid coastal tracks, stay off the roads and look out for one another.

Calm heads. Prepared homes. Strong community. We’ve got this.

Our patrollers are out there tonight keeping a watchful eye. Spare a thought for their dedication.
