Congratulations Jian Liu, for winning the 2025 Best Classical Artist Tui at the Aotearoa Music Awards this evening. Rattle couldn't be happier or more chuffed. Well done, Jian!

We're especially pleased because the other two finalists, Michael Houstoun and Justin DeHart, are also Rattle artists. This marks Rattle's 7th clean sweep at the NZ music awards, where all three finalists released their albums on the label. It also marks Rattle's 24th Best Artist Award and 56th finalist placing. That's not bad going for a small independent label!

We may be under-resourced, but we have tenacity and commitment to burn, and, obviously, very good taste when it comes to who we work with and the music they produce, even if we do say so ourselves.
