Tips: We are currently seeking a highly skilled (HSSE Engineer) to join our company in Plas chem Jubail Industrial City.
Responsibilities
ยท To support and monitor the implementation of the Tecnimont HSE Policy and HSE Management System at site.
ยท To perform the Job Hazardous Analysis (JHA) and participate to the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
ยท Verify the adequacy and application of the Site HSE Plan and all related procedures, to the preparing any revisions.
ยท To update the HSE documentation during all the construction phases when deemed necessary.
ยท To check that Subcontractors, perform their activities in accordance with all the HSE applicable procedures, regulation, and standards, promoting all necessary action to ensure that the said procedures and regulations are observed.
ยท Assist the Project Manager in the running of the project.
ยท Review and approve contractor's health, safety, and environmental plans, risk assessments, and method statements to ensure compliance with legal and client requirements before starting the works.
ยท Develop and deliver comprehensive health, safety, and environmental training to consultant employees, including induction and safe working practices.
ยท Supervise a team of HSE Inspectors to ensure adherence to HSE plan at project sites, meeting all legal and client requirements.
ยท Supervise HSE Inspectors to ensure the implementation of health and safety arrangements at site, complying with legal and client requirements.
ยท Ensure HSE Inspectors follow up on contractor's incident investigation reports, ensuring identification and closure of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
ยท Schedule daily morning site visits across project sites to verify the implementation of HSE measures before work begins.
ยท Conduct weekly joint HSE inspections with HSE Inspectors and contractors HSE representatives, ensuring prompt closure of all corrective/preventive actions.
ยท Coordinate HSE meetings with the Client, IDOM project staff, and contractors.
ยท Conduct regular site safety visits.
ยท Inspect project sites to evaluate ongoing work conditions to guarantee compliance
Qualifications
ยท Bachelorโs degree in health and safety or a related field.
ยท Qualified with relevant HSE Qualifications.
ยท Applicable Experience: over 5 years.
ยท Proficiency level of English language. Arabic Language is a plus.
ยท Excellent communication skills
ยท Report writing skills, social skills, communication, teamwork, problem solving, autonomy, flexibility,
ยท Willingness to work in a multinational environment firm.
