Damn... Nearly gave up DJ'ing tonight...😦

Hearing State of Mind play 21 years of their own catalogue was absolute perfection. Imagine looking at that folder of tunes knowing you could play any of them and that 1.5 hours is nowhere near enough and absolutely killing it! 🫠🤯🫡 How can I hope to top that as a DJ?! 😬

Bit behind on posting from all the back to back festivals but maaaaan… Kiwiburn: New Zealand's Regional Burning Man Event with Mint Country Club NZ was on a whole other level!!! Easily twice as good as ANY other festival I’ve EVER been to! Managed to get two sets in; my first ever techno set B2B with the boss lady Caroline Lindsey herself on the brand spanking new sound system at MCC’s Meet The Minters and my Heeeaavy DNB wubs set on Bing Crosby’s art car playing out to the crowd watching the effigy burn on the Saturday night (no photos of that one unfortunately except the burn itself). Can’t wait for next year! Thanks to everyone who made it happen and for letting me “borrow” your photos 😜
