ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ Christopher Luxon ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਚੀਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚਾਰ ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਬੀਜਿੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਉਠਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਲਈ ਚਿੰਤਾਜਨਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟੀਕਰਨ ਮੰਗਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

📌 ਚੀਨ ਨੇ ਚਾਰ ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ MPs ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਲਈ ਚੀਨ, Hong Kong ਅਤੇ Macau ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਲੀਆ Taiwan ਦੌਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

🗣️ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰੀ Winston Peters ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਕਈ ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਤਾਈਵਾਨ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ “One China Policy” ਦੇ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਰਵੱਈਏ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

⚠️ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ MPs ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਕੁਝ MPs ਨੇ ਇਸ ਕਦਮ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾਅ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਖ਼ਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ।

🌏 ਚੀਨ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ MPs ਤਾਈਵਾਨ ਦੌਰੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ “One China Principle” ਦੇ ਉਲਟ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਬੀਜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤਾਈਵਾਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ “ਲਾਲ ਰੇਖਾ” ਪਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੀਮਤ ਚੁਕਾਉਣੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ।

🤝 ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਚੀਨ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਕੂਟਨੀਤਿਕ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ MPs ‘ਤੇ ਲੱਗੀ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਵਾਏਗੀ।

🏠 ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਚਾਰ ਜਾਇਦਾਦਾਂ (properties), 27 ਵਾਹਨ ਅਤੇ $100,000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਨਕਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਜਾਂ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਰਾਂ, ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲਾਂ, ਜੈੱਟ ਸਕੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਰਾਵਾਨ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।

👮‍♂️ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸੰਪਤੀਆਂ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਵਪਾਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਹੈ। ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਅਪਰਾਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ‘ਤੇ ਵਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੰਗਠਿਤ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜਾਈ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ।

⚖️ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ Financial Crime Investigators ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਹੋਰ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਜੇ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋਸ਼ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸੰਪਤੀਆਂ ਸਥਾਈ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

🚨 ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੰਗਠਿਤ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਨ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
