My name is Tayla Clement and I'm 18 years old. I have made this page in conjunction with my Blog website, which is where I spend most of my time. Keep reading to find out the reason behind my blog! I was born with a rare syndrome called Moebius Syndrome, this syndrome effects my 6th and 7th cranial nerves meaning that I have minimal to no facial movement. This means that I can’t move my eyebrows and I can’t move my upper lip, causing me to not be able to smile. I have been bullied and teased throughout my whole life and after some horrific events that I endured last year, I have finally taken a stand for myself. No one is perfect, we are all made to be unique human beings and I’ve finally come to realise that I don’t have to be liked by everyone, nor to I have to try and please everyone. Over the past few months I have gained confidence within myself that I once only dreamed of having and I am already so much better off for it. I started this blog to share with people my story and what I had been through, but now it has turned in to so much more than that. I feel so comfortable behind a keyboard and I feel as though that this is where I’m meant to be. I am also a photographer (which I LOVE as well), so I will definitely be putting pictures up on my website as well! I really hope you enjoy taking a look at my blog as much as I enjoy making it for you and I hope you are able to take some inspiration from my writing. Just an indecisive gal who likes a lot of different things 🤷🏼‍♀️😅

At the end of the day, I know my why, my why is little Tayla. The 12 year old Tayla who needed so desperately to see someone else like her, to see someone like her just doing stuff in life and not letting a syndrome hold them back, to see someone like her using their voice and their story as a vessel of hope and inspiration

For a long time on social media (and in life) I felt like I had to have a reason for doing things or a reason for why I was showing up and doing the things I was doing, but recently I’ve realised that I can just be me, I shouldn’t have to announce to the world every time I do something that I have a syndrome, I can just be me, do and share what I like, and that alone is enough to start conversations and spread awareness

I’m always going to advocate and use my face and voice for all the little Tayla’s out there, but there is also so much more to me than just my syndrome, and I can’t wait to share more of that 🤍✨

En-suite reno is all done and dusted 🫧🚿

It’s been the hardest reno to date in our 80s built block home, but definitely my favourite so far!

Shower frame, vanity and all the finishings are from our friends at Trade Depot their range of anything home related still makes me squeal with excitement any time I get to go there 🙌🏼🏡😅

People keep saying it’s “just a bathroom”...

But when it’s your first home, it never feels like just a bathroom. 🤍

This en-suite has been months in the making, and seeing the tiles finally go onto the walls was the moment it all started to feel real.

I’m so grateful to be partnering with TILE WAREHOUSE to bring this vision to life, and even more grateful that I get to share the journey with all of you.

This is only Part 1... the best is still to come. 👀✨🚿🧼

And so the RS6 build…begins 🙌🏼🤩🔥

Really excited for this, I feel like with the nav build (which is still going don’t worry 😅) I was just getting into it, like dipping my toes in and learning about all this new stuff, and yes I’m well aware that the nav build and this RS6 build are two completely different vehicles, I feel like this RS6 build is really going to be the thing that pushes me into full on fanatic mode!

Just like with any other vehicle build, I’m sure there’s going to be things we find along the way….what do you think we’re going to run into while doing this build and what are some mods you’d love to see us do 👇🏼‼️ can’t wait to bring you along and will also be documenting on YouTube as well!
