Hi everyone,

As you are all aware, Lynda and Jools are seldom performing now due to their health - although in breaking news they are performing at the FIFA Fan Festival in Dunedin on July 30th for a very special one-off appearance. More news on this soon.

Their new Video On Demand platform was created so the twins can enjoy some ongoing financial reward for entertaining us all so well for so long.

At the moment we are offering 3 titles, but shall be adding more content over the next few months, and hope to have their entire back catalogue available soon.

The twins are chuffed to see so many warm and supportive messages - and wish they could respond to each & everyone of you.

Please show your support for Lynda and Jools by purchasing a title or two. And sharing the post with loved ones overseas.

You can watch their content here: https://ondemand.topptwins.com/

Thanks so much.

“The reason I didn’t go after fashion for a really long time is because I had that typical immigrant guilt, like I should be a social worker, or a doctor, or like, find some way for giving back which is more noble.”

Natasha Ovely’s fashion label Starving Artists Fund is a socially conscious, gender-neutral brand based on Auckland’s Karangahape Road. Her brand offers sizing from 6 – 22 and is sustainably made in New Zealand Her experiences living in disparate cultures across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and New Zealand have informed her frame of reference.

“I think a lot of my friends and people I care about belong to communities or minorities where you feel very self conscious about yourself and you worry about your safety, and whether there are threats coming your way in your everyday life. I think you either try to hide yourself and shy away so you make yourself invisible, or you can kind of own it. I wanted to create this safe little space where people were able to do that.”

“That was really interesting for me, getting into underground comics and through that, underground comic fanzines. What struck me from that very young age was that people could make stuff from scratch and have it really impactful. [...] It’s a medium that’s right for so many more voices and more stories to come out.”
