The Speakeasy Sessions return with 2 solo acts on Wednesday 18th of March (this coming one!)

TERESA-KAY

Emerging singer-songwriter artist performing their debut live set at 39 Ponsonby! We’re excited to hear what Teresa-Kay has been creating in secret, or in a lush sunny field somewhere. Come and experience a premiere show in a candlelit setting!

OLIVIA REEVES

Established soloist recently featured on kiwiradio.nz, with breezy songs about bees, socks and pockets. Combining elements of folk, indie-pop, in a dreamy haze of joyfulness. Come and dance with the bees this Wednesday!

Make sure to catch them at 39 Ponsonby!

OTHERWOMAN
With the release of their debut ‘Lilith’ this 3 piece alt-rap powerhouse are making waves - not just locally - “Otherwoman use their musical expression as a defiant act of resistance against injustice.”

So great to have them on the bill this coming Wednesday, I’m certain we’ll see them touring / supporting / headlining some world class acts very soon, come along and say you saw them here first!

This 4-piece band have been actively playing gigs since early last year, among them : rockquest, shore junction, whammy, big fan, and a secret show recently with Halsey Drive and Reverie, we’re really keen to see where they’ll go from here, make sure to catch them at 39 Ponsonby!

We will be hosting 2 workshops on the 15th November to give you all a lowdown on how we’ve been running our shows and how you can get involved or put on your own shows

The DIY spirit should include everyone and we wanna minimise some of the barriers to entry, especially for young and aspiring organisers and techs.

Whether you’ve already got some experience or are totally fresh there will be something for you in these workshops!
